Establish A Spiritual Foundation in Marriage

My notes of the devotion:
In marriage it is a connection of spirit, body, and soul.
   How we are to connect:
     1) Speak to one another about how you came to know the Lord and what He means to you.
Psalm 107:2, " Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy."
      2) Pray together and share answers to prayers
Amos 3:3, " Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"
      3) Read God's Word together and share with your spouse the things God has used you to speak.
Psalm 119:105," Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
      4) Give prayer request to one another
Galatians 6:2," Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
      5) Attend Church together
Hebrews 10:25," not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye the day approaching."
      6) Spend time each day talking about God's care of your lives.
1 Peter 5:7," Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you."
     7) Choose to forgive one another
Eph. 4:32," And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as for God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
      8) Be willing to accept reproof and correction from one to another
Proverbs 27:6," Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of the enemy are deceitful."
     9) Seek Christ for victory over annoying habits in your life.
1 John 5:4, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world even or faith."
    10) Allow noting unclean through you eyegate
Psalm 101:3, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me."
    11) Desire the Spirit of Christ in your married life
Philippians 2:5," Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."
    12) Build your life around the Lord
Colossians 1:18," And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."
   13) Exalt Christ together
Psalm 34:3," O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together."
   14) Cultivate a spirit of gratitude
Colossians 3:15," And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
   15) Take your rightful place in marriage
Ephesians 5:21-25, " Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it."
